The ADP, and in the light of the contract signed between the Ministry of Agriculture and the Farmer groups benefiting from the project, held its first specialized training workshop on the Eurepgap practices, between the 12th and 15th of January 2007, in the Beirut Chamber premises. The workshop focused on the importance of adopting the 'good agricultural practices', advocated by the Eurepgap, as a mean to enhance the competitiveness of the Lebanese produce, and thus increase its commercial value, locally, and internationally as well.
