ADP continues to organize training and capacity building workshops targeting farmer groups benefiting form the project. Activities in this realm planned for the coming months are as such:

• Training workshops on food safety (ISO 22000), organized in collaboration with QUALEB project (Ministry of Economy and Trade) and ACDI-VOCA and scheduled for September and October 2007 (registration is on priority-basis, and due to the limited places, kindly register the earlier possible).
• Private meetings in the Farm Management and Accounting Centers (FMACs) located within the four CCIA, gathering groups representatives and Landel Mills's marketing experts to revise and update each farmer group's marketing strategy. Meetings will be held towards the beginning of September 2007.
• On field visits to farmer groups willing to reinforce working relations among their members as to reach better collaborative marketing and management practices. Groups interested in this activity, kindly contact ADP experts at the Ministry of Agriculture or at the Federation of CCIA.
• Workshop on Eurepgap, scheduled for late October 2007, which shall entail, besides the training on Eurepgap needs, a review of the quality guide prepared for the Farmer Groups earlier this year.
