The Federation the Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture in Lebanon, which was established under decree no. 9656/96 , comprises each of:

• The Chamber of Commerce, Industry and agriculture of Beirut and Mount Lebanon (CCIAB).
• The Chamber of Commerce, Industry and agriculture of Sidon and South-Lebanon (CCIAS).
• The Chamber of Commerce, Industry and agriculture of Zahle and the Bekaa (CCIAZ).
• The Chamber of Commerce, Industry and agriculture of Tripoli and North-Lebanon (CCIAT).

The role of the CCIA in the agricultural field is achieved through the agricultural committees made up of elected Board members, and through the agricultural departments constituted of employees who are specialized in the field of agriculture.

The main missions of the agricultural committees include the contribution in setting up agricultural policies, laws and support programs, taking part in the implementation of developmental projects with the government and international organizations, the participation in the negotiations over the agricultural component of trade agreements, as well as the organization of agricultural workshops and conferences.

In addition, the agricultural departments provide a range of services to actors in the agricultural sector namely technical and marketing advice, the preparation of business plans, feasibility studies and bankable files, the provision of information related to marketing standards, export requirements, trade statistics and contact details of local and foreign importers and exporters of agricultural products.
The Federation of the Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture in Lebanon (FCCIAL) has been contracted by the Ministry of Agriculture (MoA) to perform the following services within the ADP:

• Market, Export and Trade Norms Information Services – MIS.
• Establishment of the Bar Code, Traceability Service for the Fruit and Vegetable sub-sector.
• The ADP Newsletter and Website.

For that matter, the FCCIAL in cooperation with the four regional CCIA assigned a team of specialized experts in order to execute FCCIAL contracts and provide the aforementioned services to farmer groups contracted with ADP.
